No change- The world of the cheating spouse will never change, no matter how the world evolves and changes with the times. Their behavioural patterns are as easy as pie to identify, most probably because it is so terribly predictable. A cheaters of 200 years ago if compared to one today will be like two peas in a pot. Intercourse- Pay attention to even the slightest of change in sexual patterns or behaviour. Sexual requests getting kinkier or sex generally increasing or significantly decreasing should be closely investigated. These changes can be caused by fatigue or an over-active sex life with someone other than you. A guilty conscious can be another cause.
Grooming and appearance- Severe grooming and changes to your spouses’ appearance needs proper investigation. Increased hygiene in the form of bathing and showering can be a result of your spouses attempts to wash away the scent of sex or for getting ready for a meeting with the other woman or man. Clothing purchases may increase as well as the level of sexiness of the clothes especially underwear.
Physical giveaways- If you see lipstick on his collar, smell perfume or aftershave on his or her shirt or blouse or get condoms in a wallet or purse, don’t act dumb. If it looks like a duck and quacks like duck it most probably is one. There is nothing as deadly and daunting as physical evidence.
Denial- Please don’t live in denial. It is not to your or if you have children to their advantage to ignore that which is right in front on you. The sooner you identify the problem, the sooner you will be able to tackle the situation and get out of it. The cheater will never change his or her ways, so it’s best to rather consider separation than a solution to change his or her bad habit. You don’t want to wake-up one morning and realise you have been taken for a ride all this time. Don’t be a fool in love with a fool who never cared. You deserve better.
