People have often heard of this concept under a different name…things like cocky-funny, simple teasing, sarcasm, and even “negging.” You might have heard one or more of these names before.

If you are to get a woman laughing and SIMULTANEOUSLY attract her, there are certain principles you must understand that knowing them and following them will provide you great success with women and dating. I call them the 4 RULES of humor.
RULE #1: Flirting Does Not Include Clowns
You have to walk a fine line between using humor and successfully attracting her versus acting like a clown. You won’t attract women by being or acting like a clown. The reason why is because it comes off like you are trying too hard. You may have noticed this when other guys try to get woemn to laugh and end up making a fool out of themselves instead.
Acting clown-like actually lowers your social status and increases your desperate-ness in her eyes…like you desperately want her approval… And that’s really bad for attraction.
And no slapstick humor. This only gets women laughing AT you when you want them to laugh WITH you.
Think twice before you learn humor from comedians. Many comedians who can get women to laugh a lot rarely get laid!

RULE #2: Tease Her
Perhaps you can remember how 5th grade boys tend to act a certain way when they like a certain girl. You may notice them call the girl names or even playfully pull her hair.
Although I don’t endorse pulling her hair (at least not for now), TEASING her is a fantastic way to incorporate humor into your arsenal for attracting women. No acting like a jerk though. What it is about is treating the girl in a way that lets her know you are completely comfortable in your own skin and that you aren’t afraid of teasing her.
Some ways you can tease her are…
• Giving her a nickname (my personal favorite)
• Mocking her voice
• With humor and positive intention, change around what she says
By teasing a girl, you are assuming familiarity, and if the two of you just met and you are ALREADY teasing her, there’s really no “uncomfortable period” that typically happens when two people just meet.
RULE #3: Use Your Body Language
Great comedians tend to use their entire body while delivering their gig. I mean they involve their facial expressions, utilize props, gestures with their hands, and anything they can grab ahold of…all in an effort to make people laugh.
Again, clown-like behavior doesn’t attract women. However, make sure you use your BODY LANGUAGE in ways that ensure congruence with the things you say. You can do this by establishing physical contact while you tease her. This shows her you are a guy who is comfortable to play around her.
Some ways to do this are…
• Playfully swatting her
• Pushing her away, only to pull her back into a hug
• Playing games like “hand slapping” and “thumb war”
Just simply break the “touch” barrier by simultaneously using humor while attracting her.
RULE #4: Do Other Things
Want an analogy for using humor to attract women? Well, think of humor more like a spice than the meal itself.
By SOLELY teasing her and making her laugh, you don’t provide her the opportunity to notice the other great aspects of your personality, so it is definitely important to use other things that continue to help you build (and maintain) attraction.
Some things you can do while she’s laughing are…
• Establish physical contact
• Storytelling
• Create a deep emotional connection
• Ask her questions
Doing these kinds of things give her the chance to notice you as a well-rounded individual, rather than only as someone who can make her laugh.
